About us

Cannabis tracked its product before it tracked its money. Leonidas Credit is the reconciliation layer for cannabis B2B receivables.

Leonidas Credit reconciles cannabis B2B receivables against regulated transfers and retail sell-through, giving growers, brands, financial institutions, and regulators one verified record.

Why we exist

The compliance record is complete. The financial record is not.

Seed-to-sale systems made cannabis one of the most closely tracked supply chains in the country, yet the money moving through it stayed invisible. Wholesale payments are settled in cash, chased by phone, or never settled at all, leaving an estimated $4 billion in delinquent wholesale receivables stranded across the industry. That gap drains growers and brands of working capital, keeps capital partners on the sidelines, and leaves regulators without a financial view to match the compliance one. The data to close it already lives inside the compliance record. Leonidas reads it, reconciles it, and turns it into something every trading partner can trust.

Mission

Leonidas reconciles what sells at retail against the regulated transfers that supplied it, turning scattered, hard-to-verify receivables into a single record everyone can trust. Growers and brands see exactly what they are owed and when, financial institutions gain data they can lend and bank against, and regulators see a financial picture that reconciles to the compliance record.

Vision

A cannabis industry where the money keeps pace with the product, and trust between trading partners is the norm rather than the risk. Leonidas is building toward a market in which growers and brands are paid on the terms they agreed to, financial institutions extend capital with confidence, and regulators oversee a supply chain whose books reconcile, all of it working from one shared, verified record.

Purpose

Cannabis built a tracking system for its product before it built one for its money. Every plant and package is accounted for from seed to sale, yet the payments between the businesses that move that product stay largely invisible: settled in cash, chased by phone, or never settled at all. Leonidas exists to close that gap, so that trust between trading partners rests on verified records rather than goodwill, and the industry can do business with the confidence of a mature market.

Our origin

Built from a problem the industry could measure but not fix.

Three steps, from a problem the industry could see to a record it can act on.

01

What we saw

Near-perfect tracking of product, and almost none of the money behind it. Wholesale invoices went unpaid for months, with no reliable way to verify which transfers had actually settled.

02

What we built

A platform that reads authorized Metrc data, matches retail sell-through back to the transfers and suppliers behind it, and turns scattered receivables into one record that growers, brands, and their capital partners can trust.

03

Where we're going

An industry where the money keeps pace with the product: growers and brands paid on agreed terms, financial institutions lending with confidence, and books that reconcile to the compliance record.

Self funded

Independent by design.

Leonidas has been built without outside capital, and that independence is deliberate. The roadmap follows what growers, brands, and their financial partners actually need, rather than the timeline of an outside investor. The platform earns trust the way it asks its customers to: by standing behind the record it produces and building only what the work requires.
